Gianluca Diana graduated with honors in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Palermo in October 2022.
His PhD research focuses on the design of a wearable system based on photoplethysmographic (PPG) sensors, aimed at assessing vascular health. Specifically, the project explores the potential of PPG technology to monitor biomedical signals through both numerical modeling and experimental studies, with the goal of evaluating the physiological condition of blood vessels.
