Dario Tarantino graduated in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Palermo in 2024 and holds a double degree from École des Mines de Saint-Étienne. Dario performed an interniship at IRCCS ISMETT during his biomedical degree. 

He began his PhD in the field of aneurysm biomechanics, starting with a thesis focused on cerebral aneurysms and later expanding to ascending aortic aneurysms. His current research involves the development of growth and remodeling algorithms for simulating aneurysm progression, as well as the application of machine learning techniques to create surrogate models for predicting coil repair outcomes with minimal computational cost.
